CAMPGROUND RULES

For a safe and enjoyable stay, please take a moment to review our campground rules.

Let’s keep The Campground clean, quiet, and welcoming for all!

Rules:

To help everyone have a fun, safe, and relaxing time, please take a moment to check out our campground rules. A little kindness and respect go a long way at The Campground!

PARK

  • Check In/Check Out

    • Tent Campsites

      • Check-in is at 4:00pm (CST)

      • Check-out is at 11:00am (CST)

    • Lodging

      • Check-in is at 4:00pm (CST)

      • Check out is at 11:00am (CST)​

    • If you intend to arrive before your check-in. time, please notify our office. We will make every effort to have your campsite available. However, we cannot guarantee its availability until check-in. We ask that you honor our Check-out time promptly to minimize hardship on our housekeeping staff and the next arriving guest.​

  • Deposit

    • You can secure your reservation with a 50% deposit today, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your stay.​

  • Minimum Reservation

    • A (2) night minimum applies during peak season.

    • A (2) night minimum applies for holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day)​

  • Cancellations

    • Campsites

      • Campsite and lodging reservations for less than 14 days are non-refundable.

    • Lodging

      • Campsite and lodging reservations for less than 14 days are non-refundable.

    • Holidays

      • Cancel 21+ days before your check-in date, and we will issue a refund, less a $30 service charge.​

    • No Shows

      • Guests failing to contact us to cancel their reservation will be considered a no-show. No refunds will be issued.​

    • Acts of God

      • We will not issue refunds due to Mother Nature.​

  • Speed Limit

    • The speed limit throughout the park is 10mph. Please observe our speed limit to ensure the safety of all our guests. If you are asked more than twice to slow down, you will have to park outside of the park. You will not be allowed to bring your vehicle back in. Remember, children are playing!​

  • What's Included in your Fee:

    • Playground access

    • Basketball access

    • Fishing (bring your own fishing rod)

    • Cornhole

    • Swimming beach access​

  • Firewood

    • Firewood is not permitted to be brought into the park.

      • We have firewood for sale at the office.​

  • Water Zone Areas

    • No lifeguard on duty.

      • Swim at your own risk.

      • Children under 14 must be supervised by an 18+ year old adult at all times.

      • Anyone behaving in a destructive manner will be removed from the water zone areas.

  • Photo and Video

    • By entering the park, you grant permission to campground management to photograph or video you and your guests while on the property.

      • These images may be used for lawful purposes, including promotional and advertising materials, without the need for credit or additional consent.

    • Your signature at check-in provides The Campground, its representatives, licensees, and assigns the irrevocable right to use your likeness—including portraits, images, or video—in all forms of media, for any legal purpose.

    • You also waive the right to review or approve any final content in which your image or likeness may appear.

QUIET TIME

  • 10pm - 8am (CST)

    • Loud of offensive noises, rowdiness or ill-mannered conduct will not be tolerated at any time.

SITE OCCUPANCY

  • Only ONE tent is allowed per campsite.

    • Campsites allow for a maximum of eight people per site.

    • Maximum occupancy for cabins is the maximum number of people they are rated to sleep.

SMOKING

  • We do not allow smoking in any buildings on our property, including cabins.

    • If you smoke inside our lodging units, cabins or rentals, you will be charged a one-time cleaning fee of $300.

PETS

  • Pets are allowed in some cabins and bunkhouses but are subject to pet-friendly unit availability.

    • A $40 non-refundable cleaning deposit per pet, per stay is required.

    • There is a (2) pet limit.

    • Pets must not exceed 40lbs.

    • Pets may not be left unattended in your unit.

    • If you bring unregistered pets with you or bring pets into non-pet-friendly units, it will result in a $300 cleaning fee.​

  • We expect that you will clean up after your pet.

    • Pets must be on a leash at all times and may not be tethered outside without anyone present.​

  • Pets are NOT ALLOWED on tent sites.​

  • Aggressive dogs or any breed are not welcome.

    • If your dog shows protective and unfriendly behavior to strangers, please make accommodations for your pet to stay home.

    • If your dog exhibits this before or during your stay, you will be asked to leave.

    • Violation of these guidelines is ground for ejection from the park without a refund.

REFUSAL
OF SERVICE

  • Management reserves the right to refuse service, limit the length of stay and the number of persons or vehicles per site, and/or evict ant person or party without refund.

WEATHER

  • To ensure the safety of all our guests, the weather is constantly being monitored.

    • We do not give rain checks or refunds for early departure.

    • Please check the weather forecast prior to your arrival.

    • Keep an eye on social media for updates to operation regarding inclement weather.

TRASH

& GARBAGE

  • Please place all garbage in designated dumpsters.

    • We kindly ask that you not leave garbage sitting outside.

    • Charcoal is to be dumped in the fire ring at your site or cabin.

    • No trash to be placed on porches or outside of cabins.

      • Must be placed in dumpsters at time of removing from trashcan.​

PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • The following items are not permitted in the park

    • Fireworks

    • Firearms

      • This includes BB guns, Airsoft​ and pellet guns

    • Personal golf carts

    • Drones

      • For safety purposes, we do not allow drones to be flown in our park.​

    • No alcohol

    • No glass bottles
